      port forwarding

      hi guys, help please, for some reason I cannot get my port open no matter what I do.
      these are my stats
      System Up Time 16:39:42
      Port Status TxPkts RxPkts Collisions Tx B/s Rx B/s Up Time
      WAN PPPoA 1133 1052 0 589 1127 00:05:16
      LAN 10M/100M 34578 33355 0 402 217 16:39:38

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 19570 kbps 1044 kbps
      Line Attenuation 12.0 db 6.2 db
      Noise Margin 8.0 db 7.5 db
      after doing a PPPOA test this is what I get
      The Sky Test was unable to detect the Internet connection

      Error code:300----sometimes 200

      my connection status shows I am connected ok
      I have also allowed utorrent in my eset firewall.
      can anyone advise me please?

      Follow the instructions here, don't miss any steps or it will not work.

      If you follow the instructions it should work.

      However, uTorrent can work with UPnP, have you tried enabling this in the router and in the application?

      Just tried this in my DG834GT, following the steps outlined. Works fine for me!!
      Suggest swapping glasses and reading the steps again.

      Which version of Utorrent are you using ? 1.8.2 here. there is a new version but I stick with 1.8.2.
      On my Sagem@fast under firewall

      Inbound Services
      # Enable Filter Name Action LAN Server IP address WAN Users
      0 Utorrent Allow always 192.168.0.1 / 255.255.255.255(56651:56651) 0.0.0.0 / 0.0.0.0(1:65535)
      Default Yes Any BLOCK always Any Any

      Same on my DG

      Dissable the network filtering mode in ESET personal firewall, restart utorrent, wait for the icon to turn green, enable network filter in firewall.
      This worked for me just now!!
