      have a look in the cabling and faceplate forum, you will need to find the master socket as errors on yur line indicate noise (prob from an extention)

      thanks for you reply to my post mate
      i do use an extension as my main socket is in my living room but pc is in the attic.

      what if i plug the router in the living room and buy a wireless usb for the pc
      will that help ??
      also if it will do you know what model wireless i should buy?
