Connect is traffic shaped, have you tried using the encryption?

Have you configured your up down speeds if they are both unlimited you will get very slow download speeds

      Re: Help please

check your seed to pear racio isnt set at 0

make sure your port isnt default and is random

make sure it -the port is allowed full access in your firewall

encryption can work and help but can often pervent others from conection to you to seed if they dont have it set up sylimer--something like that

if things are still bad limit your download speed to say 150kb or 200kb
change your upload speed to 16-18kb

      does this make any diferance?
note it can vary per torrent depending on number of seeders and what kb they are giving out

check you dont have more than 1 firewall in the backround eg your router, anti virus one and that annoying windows firewall.

it might help to turn upnp off in your router and torrent program i found it helped on mine though i dont use the one your using

well this is all i can think of at the mo hope something of it helps out something in there has to be right for aol to inform me they dont have a calculator big enough to calculate my bandwith usage lol
though not on aol now cant think as to why

I think it's the torrent health that makes the download problems, although the torrent is not dead with 30Kb/s. If you have 1 or less seeders and few peers than it's a big problem, and there is nothing you can do to make download faster ! It sucks doesn't it !

      Re: Help please

depending on where your downloading the torrent from this were the settings i had when i was on connect and got about 500-600kb/s

go prefrences and make sure this is ticked

bit torrent-protocol encryption-outgoing (forced) tick allow incoming legacy connections

before i did that it was slow my friend told me to do this and it was fast after that but like i say its all about where your downloading from if its places like demonoid forget it slow as hell
