Re: Download Help
Hi, could you possibly find out what Sky BB package you are on as it can affect the answer.
When you test your port in you torrent does it show as open correctly?

Re: Download Help
Hi. Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure which sky package im on - but its the standard sky tv and unlimited download broadband. And yes - the ports are ok i think (In azureus if i go to tools menu and click configuration wizard and goto the part where it tests the port - then the result is "OK")
Hope you can help

ProblemTorrent Negear 834GT Firmware
Thats my first post so sorry if its not in the right section.
I use a Netgear 834GT with sky connect (over BT 8meg/40GB). For torrents i use utorrent, my problem: my download speed (approx 5k/dl).
I tried port forwarding, enabled encryption, changed the limit of connections. No success, still the same lame crapy download rate of 5k.
I know the firmware of the 834GT is a sky customized one. Is there a possibility of increasing my download speed by flashing a original netgear firmware on my router? It seems to me that there is some kind of restriction for p2p operations. Can i undo those restrictions by using a new firmware or is the restriction out of my reach (sky server config).
Do you have any other trick or advice to increase my speed?
Last thing im going to do-> delete utorrent completely (regs) and try a different client.
BTW... is it possible that my router rules (for port forwarding) get lost after some time?
Thanks SirVice
