Re: Multiroom offer
I just rang them they offered a 2TB box for £49 the HD pack for half price for 12 months but multi room for £10.25, do you think they can do better? also if you had a 2TB box and a Sky+ HD box on the same network would the rumoured planner sharer still work?

Re: Multiroom offer
Read about the free multiroom and mentioned 'a friend' had got that but they said because it is near christmas they have no other offers, then later he said if we'd been a customer 5 years instead of 3 we may get better offers!?

Re: Multiroom offer
tbh there is rumours that Sky are going to stop offering such good deals anyway, so it maybe worth trying again later and if not then going for it?
Like they say people are signing upto Sky in their thousands anyway, so they can afford to be a little arrogant I guess.
All depends how you play it etc you could say you want to cancel because you feel the 2TB box offer for new customers is a little unfair etc etc but no guarantee you will get anywhere.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Multiroom offer
According to the latest offer (on the banners we have)
Free 2TB STB for new customers, with free installation, however, afaik that is an affiliate offer only.
So cancellations may not even know of that deal.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

Re: Multiroom offer
Am about to phone - but wondering about which dept. Should I go back to cancellations who a few weeks ago spoke of a deal (though prob only the DRX595 box) or to upgrades? Or contact upgrades? My aim is to get best deal on a mulitroom add on to my HD and Sports package - with say the 895 box.
Any thoughts folks?
Cheers

Re: Multiroom offer
Check what you can get online and use that as your datum. You can try upgrades but I doubt whether they will improve on this. Cancellations have offered good deals in the past but not so good recently. General consensus is that a lot of cancellation offers have been removed.

Re: Multiroom offer
Tried cancellations/online chat/upgrades. No extra sweeteners - just £49 for the 2tb box plus £60 installation. Went for it in the end as I either need to spend a couple of hundren on a new HDMI video sender or bite the bullet - so it will be a couple of years before I would equal the cost of the latter, so a no-brainer.
Looks like as others have said - other deals are off ATM/
Cheers folks
