Re: Ask For A Sky Discount Code Here
What bubblegun has posted above are current deals available from Sky.
They are not Friends & Family deals as those require a code from someone who works at Sky and are only offered every 3 months or so. Having said that, F&F deals weren't made available much in the last year, so we'll need to wait a little. The next time I would expect them to be available is around November.

Re: Ask For A Sky Discount Code Here
Looking at SamKnows I see that Fibre hasn't yet gone live at your exchange. Provided that this does happen by the predicted date (they do change and can also be early, not just late), you should be able to get a Sky Fibre product.
The predicted date at the moment is the end of next month. With this in mind, take a look at the BTW Wholesale checker to see what it says. You never know.

As for the deals, they do change periodically, so please do keep an eye open.
Sometimes it is also worth checking various cash back sites. Since they don't advertise on this site we don't post links to them, but you are welcome to google them. Again their deals change from time to time.

Re: Ask For A Sky Discount Code Here
Good. From the BTW checker you'll also be provided with what should be your cabinet number. If you are able to take a gander do find where it is and see if there is a spanking new Fibre cabinet near to it. There might be some signs of work being done, perhaps just the marking or electrical cables will be present, but it will give you a far better indication for what is happening for where you are.
Please remember that although some things will appear on those sites, it can pay to take a look in person.

Re: Ask For A Sky Discount Code Here
Ive been watching it with interest and in person, the fibre twin was installed 3 weeks ago, power provided around two days afterwards from a nearby telephone kiosk, and over the last two weeks the fibre ducting (the black tubing with yellow stripe which you see openreach installing everywhere at the moment) work has been completed.
Sadly the actual blowing of the fibre is invisible to roadworks.org as it wont require any road disruption, so who knows when that will happen

Re: Ask For A Sky Discount Code Here
No, you have misunderstood my post.
This is a Friends and Family offer but this offer is limited to 2 codes per staff member.
So if you know someone who works for Sky then speak to them nicely.
Outside of this offer then the usual 12 month half price is probably still available but we've had no confirmation that the codes work. Yet...
