Re: Interested in a free sky + box

Technically you dont need to be a completely new sky user to get a free sky+ box. As long as you are out of your contract time (or close by) cancel your sky subscription. Then sign up again under your wife/partners name using the same address.

Sky will assume you are a new customer and you will qualify for the free sky+ box.

My money is on you not being able to get past Retentions without being offered a Sky+ box to stay

      you're joking!!!

sky don't offer existing customers anything anymore apart from a few crumbs....

they might offer a reduced sky+ box if you're lucky....but you'll still have to probably shell out about 69 sheets for it

if anyones know different please tell me!!!

Re: Interested in a free sky + box

They didnt offer me jack when I tried to leave! The lady I spoke to was really rude aswell when I tried the old virginmedia routine. I tried to get a good deal from them as a customer for over 12 months no luck. Originally I was willing to pay 99.00 + installation but no luck. Then with the next offer for new customers I was willing to pay full installation cost if they could offer me a free box. Still no luck.

I got the last laugh in the end. FREE SKY+ box, FREE INSTALLATION. All at the billing of Sky. (Wouldnt of even got half of that if they knew I wasnt a new customer).

Try my way, you wornt go wrong. Worked for both me and a friend.
My welcome to sky confirmation letter came the same day as my Goodbye from sky confirmation letter :P

But if you didn't have Base, you would still be paying 37 a month surely? Plus whatever ISP's you were with, charges.
