M&S Vouchers..... help please, before I go mad!!
Hi all,
I'm hoping someone can help me...
I was introduced to Sky by a friend and had my Sky installed on 5 Nov 2007, both me friend and I were promised to £50.00 M&S vouchers.
I am still waiting for vouchers, my friend returned the confirmation at the end of Nov. Everytime I speak to SKY, they tell me to phone the '3rd party company' who deals with the vouchers on 08702 412 939, when I speak to the company, they tell me that they do NOT deal with the internet introduce a friend scheme and we either have to ring sky, or e-mail the address in the FAQ's on Sky Introduce a Friend (there is one for existing customers and one for new customers). The e-mail addresses do not work, and fail delivery everytime you use them!!!!
I have now racked up god knows how much on phone bills to the two different numbers (although useful to know that sky's customer services non-'08702' no is:01506 677000).
Really have annoyed, have filled in a 'general enquiries' form on website telling them that I will cancel my direct debit if they do not sort it out.... dunno if they'll pay attention though!! As far as I am concerned, they are in breach of contract.
I do not mind waiting for the vouchers, but as it stands at the moment, they are stuck in the 'system' and no one at sky is willing to sort it out!!
Any ideas?? Anyone?? Please?? Sob sob sob!!!!!!!!

You will see from my thread that I share your feelings. Some people think I have over reacted to the situation. The last action I took was to email Sky. I think I am somewhere in the system and have been told that the vouchers won't be available until the end of January. I have a feeling this saga has a way to go yet!

afaik It is up 60 days from when your friend has had it installed. Which if at the end of November 2007 would roughly be the end of January 2008 before you receive them.

You are right, it does say 60 days from installation, but I am the 'friend', and had it installed on (I think) 1st Nov (was at the very latest 6 Nov).
Still does not excuse the blatent disregard for their customers or infact the contracts they entered into! I do not see why they keep sending me between different dept, SKY seem to think ot is the '3rd party companies' problem, my contract is with sky, therefore it is their problem!
If I didn't have a shaved head, I'd have ripped my hair out, its the endless being sent round in circles!!!!!!

As we mentioned in the other thread, a lot of us are aware and totally agree with the passing from pillar to post.
When things are good with Sky they are very good, when things go wrong, its a nightmare to get sorted out.~ Never, ever, argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience ~

I'll sit tight for the good times then!!!!
Anyone got any idea of where best to complain??
Customer Services do not seem to be very good, one bloke at CS told me to complain on the net, I'd rather talk to someone!!!!!

You did put the @ in instead of the at and removed the spaces?
