      Fab Fibre renewal

Yesterday was my last day “in contract” on NOW TV Fab Fibre (with PAYG calls as we don’t use the landline for calls in or out), so phoned up this morning to “check to see if there are any existing customer deals before deciding about switching to a new provider”.

To be fair, we joined in June 2018 at £20 per month (thanks to a Summer discount promo). Due to 2 house moves since then, which included some extensions to the discount due to subsequent billing mess ups both times, was still paying £20 up until yesterday!

So, was very pleased to be offered continuation at £22.99 per month in exchange for accepting a new 12 month contract. She also gave me a voucher code for 6 months Entertainment as a freebie. We’re currently on a deal for Entertainment until mid June, but the code will still be valid to apply as soon as we’re into the last month at the discount price.

All in all, a decent result, I think...

      Re: Fab Fibre renewal

My phone contract is due for renewal shortly. I'm with Three and have had no complaints. I need to recheck the signal strength where I am to find out how good it would be with Sky first.

Vodafone isn't much good where I am. I'm unsure of the others.

I’ve been on Three for many years now and they’ve always been very good when it comes to renewal deals.

sky Mobile is a MVNO using O2 isn’t it? Their coverage here, both indoor & outdoor, is very good. I think they would be my “Plan B” choice should I ever fall out with Three!

Yes, Sky uses O2 network. I should look to see how good the O2 network is though to see if it is any better.

A small gripe I have with Three is that they are never consistent with when the DD goes through. Otherwise I've been very happy with them.
