3 week wait for installation!
Hey,
Newbie here - so I ordered online and have the free 2TB model and a tenner off my family pack for 6 month. Not a bad deal.
But I have a 3 week wait (well 22 days!) for the engineer to come and install the box!
It's a simple install, I am in a ground floor flat with a shared dish and everything works fine (using Freesat currently) - any advice on getting this install done quicker, or should I hang fire?
Rick.

Re: 3 week wait for installation!
Does seem excessive, but I guess it's getting towards Christmas and they are busy.
You could probably have done a self install, if they still do that and you are reasonably competent technically.--------------------------------------------------------

Re: 3 week wait for installation!
Yeh 3 weeks is a long time and I am pretty competent technically so a self-install would have been preferable. But I'll wait!

Yep... still need the phone line, although I suspect it can also use broadband.

, Yes from the OC forum?
My D7000 will, by the end of today be doing duty as a WAP only, bit excessive I know. I'm putting in a pFsense firewall so its job there is redundant, it will just be a backup in case the OR modem or the firewall fails.--------------------------------------------------------
