      So to just keep you up to date.
      Fibre is going live this Friday and will be a remote connection since they put us on the ADSL service.

      Fibre is now enabled! Thank god for that.

      But....... the phone has a buzzing and echoey type sound.

      The complaints team are going to perform some tests on the line though.

      So Sky performed tests on the line and found it to be "unbalanced", so an Openreach engineer has been booked.

      As compensation for the fibre troubles Sky have also given us 50% off line rental for 12 months and the HD pack free for 12 months.

      So the original offer of 57 a month for all described in my original post is now 43.90 a month.

      Very happy with how the complaints team handled my issue. They have been very informative and kept me up to date.
