Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program Microsoft Outlook because of this error.

      Program: Microsoft Outlook

      2. If the file still cannot be accessed and
      - It is on the network, your network administrator should verify that there is not a problem with the network and that the server can be contacted.
      - It is on a removable disk, for example, a floppy disk or CD-ROM, verify that the disk is fully inserted into the computer.
      3. Check and repair the file system by running CHKDSK. To run CHKDSK, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the command prompt, type CHKDSK /F, and then press ENTER.
      4. If the problem persists, restore the file from a backup copy.
      5. Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. If not, the disk might be damaged. If it is a hard disk, contact your administrator or computer hardware vendor for further assistance.

Have you run CHKDSK as suggested?

      If so then try:
Open an elevated CMD prompt (right click on cmd icon and choose "run as administrator")
      Type SFC /scannow
It may take awhile to finish, but when it does try again.

It is always worth checking if you have the latest service pack for MSO 2010.

      Re: Outlook 2010 crashing

Outlook 2010 went out of mainstream support 13/oct/2015
Extended support is available till 13/oct/2020, but only where it is within a paid enterprise exchange environment.

Do not understand why people use such old MS Office products today.
The latest MS Office 365 products being free on many Windows PCs, along with the excellent Windows app versions and the free Android and iOS apps.
Also it is so cheap now to purchase (59.99 - 79.99 for 1 year of 1 - 5 users and more) and the free web versions are excellent.
