      Sure a guest WiFi account does help and is a great use. Sadly most routers, especially those from ISPs, don't tend to offer this. A simple scan in the local area with inSSIDer will show that most people stick with the ISP supplied routers.

      As for upsetting friends, in the example above it wasn't a friend who came to tinker with my NAS, it would have been a person perhaps not known to me. Besides, some people are just wired that way and tend to hate a lot of people, but they normally have a few friends.

      Totally have no sympathy for people that click express settings or set this up for me then don't like the settings they are given. I always without fail check all my settings on an install especially for something as fundamental as the OS. We have Google and similar now, there is no reason to not understand or ay least research any terms or options you are presented with. If you cant query Google then you shouldn't be upgrading an OS.

      I never trust express settings. You never know what could be installed as a result.

      so if I go to custom settings during the install screen and disable some of them will it mean ill be more secure as I don't fancy given my WiFi password out when it should be private.
