      Creating a batch file

      hi could some kind person write a batch file that contains the following lines of code.

      sc config spooler depend= RPCSS start= Auto

      and

      net start spooler

      i hope to have the batch file start on boot as my printers are screwing up and this fixes it. i do not require any help other than the creation of this batch file thankyou. please keep to topic. this should also allow me just to click the file when ever i need it to do both jobs. i could write it my self if somebody told me what to write and were. again thank you

      Re: Creating a batch file

      Create a batch file by opening Notepad and entering both commands on separate lines, then click

      File -> Save as -
      Save as type: All files
      File name: yourfile.bat (not *.txt)

      Re: Creating a batch file

      Put a shortcut to it in your startup program group to have it auto run on Windows startup (surprisingly!)

      If you want it to stop so that you can see the output from the commands before it disappears, just put a a line on the end with the single word

      pause

      and the batch file will wait for you to press a key before terminating.
