    pc package part 2 or deux

      pc package part 2 or deux

      ok i dont know what the hells going on with thease pc companys but why is it you can never get a decent pc package for a reasnable price. the only closest ive come is a dell inspiron 570 i think with amd and a 20 inch screen with 6 gigs and a 1tb hard drive but thats 669 but if i want a biger screen it goes over my budget of 700

      Or build your own and save a packet.
      That way you get exactly what you want and arnt paying for stuff you dont.

      well this pc isnt for me its for me mother and she dont want to have the hassle of building she just wants a package where its all ready and waiting. the problem is alot of companys dont do packages with monitors its like there doing away with it making it more exspensive

      buy a separate monitor then, heck even PC world do them at a decent enough price.
      I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

      you should go to dabs.com and go to their best value page [get recon monitors etc ] a lot cheaper than new [all have a 3 month warranty [some 12 months ] also under european law a product has to be fit for purpose for 5 years so you would save loads for a build for example i bought a dgm monitor over 15 months ago for £130 [26" full hd [goes up to 1900x1260 or something 2 ms refresh rate ,and the only thing wrong was the box was a bit crappy but new would have cost£270]
      worth a look tbh

      nice spec il keep a check on dell as there pretty good but i kinda want a amd system as there cheaper than intel

      ok guys im pleased to tell you me mother got a new pc and its a cracker specs are below.

      2.5ghz core 2 quad q8300
      4gb of ddr3 memory
      1tb hard drive
      gforce gt 320
      gigabit lan 23 inch monitor with resolution of 1920x1080

      so what you think is it a good spec or what and she got it for under 700 from pc world
