Im considering purchasing a new dell pc. Could anyone please tell me if the tv tuner made by dell includes freeview channels? Also could anyone suggest any other brands of pc, if they are better then a dell system?

Post a link to your PC so we can have a look. I have a Dell myself, well two actually and wouldn't buy anything else.

      Re: TV tuner

Dell's Tv tuners are mostly Hauppauge:

HauppaugeŽ WinTV-HVR-1250 Hybrid Analog/Digital TV Tuner

The Hauppauge WinTV HVR1250 TV Tuner allows you to watch, pause, replay and record live TV1 on your Inspiron desktop with Windows VistaŽ Home Premium or Windows VistaŽ Ultimate Edition.

This is a single tuner option that offers high quality analog cable or free over-the-air digital or HD television playback on your desktop. You can watch, record, rewind and playback live analog cable TV1 or free over-air local digital and HD TV broadcasts (but not digital cable TV). The WinTV HVR1250 turns your desktop into a PVR multimedia system. It is a great value solution that brings free local digital and HD TV (where available)3 to your desktop at a great low price.

      Re: TV tuner

DVB-T tuner than should work fine with Freeview. But I'd suggest some decent software personally I've used DVBViewer with a Hauppauge WinTV Nova-T PCI adapter for a number of years now
There is no Tier 3, only Zhul or rather the Customer Solutions Team...
