      Question mobile telephone plug?

i have heard of devices that you an get to allow a landline extension to be moved around the house - using the mains power cables to transmit the telephone line. You plug one into the mains socket and also into the telephone socket and then the other plugs into any other household power socket and acts as a phone line.

i am aware that some (Powerline or Powerplug) allow internet networks to flow throughout the house - i am only interested in telephone extensions (to plug into a basic sky box).

secondly i am aware of the 'wireless' ones that maplins do - but i am keen to avoid this due to wireless overload and potential health risks.

does anybody know/use the ones that simply extend a phone socket using the mains power cables NOT 'wireless' technology?

Any advice or help thanked in advance.

The one's that transmit data over mains cable are called HomePlug. They include circuits that decouple the data lines from the power lines. They won't handle normal telephone lines but will of course handle VoIP telephone such as Skype. I've never come across landline telephony over mains cable.
