Ntl To Sky But Mac Code Is Just One Letter long!!

Hope I am in the right place here, I apologise if not. I am thinking of moving from NTL freedom to SKY and last friday finally had the courage to contact ntl freedom to request MAC code. I received an email today saying:

"We have received a request to provide you with a Migration Authority Code (MAC).

This request has been processed and your MAC is as follows:"

It consists of a letter (just the one - no numbers) with a % symbol either side! I thought that a MAC consisted of many numbers ... am I correct??

Anyway, I have sent them an email requesting the correct MAC. I hope this isn't the beginning of problems ... I have taken a while deciding whether to switch or not!

PROBLEM SOLVED! Just received an email from ntl freedom:

      'Dear Customer,

Thanks for your email. I do apologise for the incorrect MAC Code.'

The mac code I had received was %M% so you can see why I thought it was wrong.

I now have a list of numbers and letters - this is more like it, and thank goodness they did not take long to reply to my email.
