    MSN at midnight

      It’s not a major problem, just a bit annoying when you’re in the middle of typing. Other then that, I don’t think you would actually notice it disconnecting if you wasn’t typing in a conversation at the time, as it is only for a few seconds.

      I’m pretty sure that it’s a problem at Microsoft’s end though as the person I was talking to at the time was also disconnected, and they are with a different ISP.

      Like newsreader said, maybe they swap servers or something at midnight. Although I don’t think that wouldn’t explain the other disconnections I’ve had.

      Well the same thing happened again tonight, but the person i was talking to wasn't effected.

      its definatly a netgear problem.
      change the router clock to a time that doesnt affect you such as 3am.
      only workaround i could find.

      if you dont think its the clock, try setting it to another timezone, one that would affect you and experiment with it, would be interesting to see other peoples results on this.
