Unless you manually configure it, it's 100% correct.
The Sky Router is 56kbps wireless and 108 mbps wired.
      If i'm wrong, please elaborate.

      Copied from Netgear.com

      DG834GT
108 Mbps Super Wireless ADSL Router with 4-Port 10/100 Switch

Seems to be 108mb/s wireless to me

Netgear DG834GT 108Mbps wireless (obviously up to) and 10/100Mbps wired.

No idea what you mean by "Unless you manually configure it" but have no intention arguing this with you because it's just too silly.

Mine was 108mbs per second as well - I was under the impression though the wireless card had to match the spec as well.

But as I do not use the wireless bit apart from my laptop I am not really that bothered

Re: wireless connection 54mbps not 125?

I can only assure you that customers when purchasing this product, if they ask what their speeds will be wireless/wired, they will be told by the agent that their wireless speeds will be 56mbps and if they wire it, 108mbps.

The Reason the netgear router is named 108 Mbps Super Wireless ADSL is because it has the capability to reach 108 mbps, but not wirelessly.
You can disregard this if you want, and i'm not looking for an argument, but i know what i am talking about when it comes to these products.

edit: I just tested this for myself, and it would seem that i only get 54mbps wireless, not 108. I also get 100 mbps wired.
As has been said, 108 mbps is asking alot, but your not going over 56 wirelessly, that i can assure you.
Naturally, if anyone can go over it and would like to show me a screenshot, i'd gladly accept that i am wrong..
      However, i am not.

Craig, your orig posts stated kbps which has caused the confusion. it should have been Mbps and then 54 not 56.

As for 108 wirless, yes it is wireless as Windows Zero Config quotes that my set up is receiving 108Mb (theorectical as opposed to real). Will post a screen shot when I get back to my desktop as I'm on my laptop at the mo.

Ah, kbps. Silly me. One would assume you guys would have known what i meant. :P
If you have a 108 mbps wireless connection, then that will be the first time i have seen or heard of it with the Sky Router, as customers are told that the highest speed attainable will of course be 56 mbps.

One would assume that Sky can handle a migration or a Tie Pair issue.

In this world .... never assume anything
