      54mbs or 108mbs-108mbps.jpg

Okay, screenshot attached (as Saturday says, this is the theorectical connection as opposed to what I will really get. A bit like the true download speed is less than your sync rate).

Take a look at netgears site and the WG311T (which is what I use). This is a wireless PCI card with no ethernet ports and is quoted as "108Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter".

Re: wireless connection 54mbps not 125?

Well that is an impressive connection, i have never actually seen anyone connected at 108.mbps on the sky router wirelessly.
I had a look at the WG311T adapter, and have instantly come to the conclusion that it's certainly not the little cheap adapter supplied by sky as netgears official adapter of this router.

This is perhaps one of the reasons that very few people reach over 56mbps wirelessly with Sky's router, many of them will most likely be using the wireless adapter supplied by Sky.

Out of curiousity, what is your actual download speed?

amazing that none of our agents are told to say anything about only getting 54mbps wireless and 108mbps on wired thats just rubbish TBH. That and of all the connections I have set up using our supplied wg111t and sky router I usually always get over 54mbps connected unless Im a great distance away. but you must be right huh

It says that in KMS, your agents should be saying it regardless of wether they were told to or not.

Obviously the reported connected wireless speed is just the theoretical speed. To test the true wireless connection speed, use something like Qcheck Qcheck - Network Performance Measurement :: Solutions :: Ixia - Leader in IP Performance Testing.

      Brilliant

And presumably whether it's true or not?
