old router
so many of us who switched to sky now have an old modem router, so can someone tell me if it can be used as just a wireless router for 'cable' say,or does having the modem built in stop this?

I guess it depends on the router. My old Netgear 834 (wirred) one can't be used on Cable so I gave it to my brother who is now up and running with Talk Talk. They wanted to charge him £30 for one which is a bit naughty to say the least.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
