A Christmas warning
In the spirit of goodwill to all men in this festive season, my employer has decided to go on an 'email abuse' mission and is sacking a load of people for email abuse. It seems mainly down to one festive email that has been circulated around, but a lot of people are being suspended pending a hearing or now on disiplinary.
So be warned, if your company has an email/internet policy and you break it, you could get done!

fortunately I aint been sent it. however we are all speculating if it is just one email or if they are doing a purge on general volume as well as they start investigating further.
We had our team party on Friday night and it was a very awkward atmosphere and all everyone is doing is trying to work out if they are going to get dragged into it.Last edited by reddwarfcrew; 10-12-06 at 02:46 PM.

Well I doubt they could do anything to those who just recieved the mail. It is those who wrote and forwarded it who will be in trouble!

It's all got a bit big brother and politically correct now with internal emails . I'd definetely be sacked these days with the kind of material I used to send and receive a few years back.
