(namely static IP, reasonable off-peak download limits, ability to run web & mail servers, decent control panel on their web site with stack loads of information).
      No Static IP
Very reasonable download limits - better than PN normally
Yes - to web and mail servers
No control panel - login for reading email if it works
Stack loads of information - lol what information?

Go for it! - if you don't like it you could always go to back to Plusnet, but then pigs could fly. You have 8 days to make your mind up.

      Cheers.

Any throttling, port blocking, or peak/off-peak restrictions?

I don't mind this kind of thing so long as it's well stated so I know the limits, and not so restrictive that it makes things unusable (as PlusNet is getting sadly).

Only throttling of p2p on the connect package - AFAIK and using a good client, properly setup will give acceptable results

      Re: Say Hello

Hi to everyone, im new on here but have been using your forum to research my getting SKY broadband.

Now i have it i couldnt be more pleased, i am getting the max my line will allow 3meg with a 1 meg upload.

I was a bit put of at first as reading about some of your problems on here like loosing connection and slow download speeds but my change to SKY was fast and problem free.

And i use xbox live every day and have had no trouble so far with a ping from 50 to 75.

Anyway your forum has helped me no end so thanks a lot, i hope i can help some of you sometime.
