      Happy reading. The main difference now is that all new customers will be offered Sky Q, unless they live in a place with a shared/communal dish which hasn't been upgraded to support Sky Q.

      Hi everyone, been with sky for just over a year now and upto now its OK. I am thinking of getting a replacement for the 102 and have extracted the un/pw from the hub, have just tried a VR600 but wouldn't stay connected and no IPv6. Ill try somthing else later.

      Welcome to the forums. There are several threads people have discussed using their own routers. Please feel free to look through them first. If the answer isn't there, please do start a thred in the right section, depending on whether you have an ADSL or VDSL (FTTC) connection.

      Hi from a new guy!!
      I have been a Sky subscriber since the very early days in 1989 when it was the old analogue systems. I have been an early adopter of Sky Digital, Sky+, Sky+ HD and now Sky Q.
      I am an Ex RN Chef, serving on HMS Hermes and later becoming a submariner on Conqueror, Churchill, Renown, Ocelot, Porpoise and Onslaught. My service was from 1965 - 1976. After discharge, I used my preferred skills of operating plant and entered the electricity generation industry at the CEGB Grain Power Station in Kent. I have also worked on secondment to Kuwait Ministry of Power and Water, and my final 18 years at the Smurfit paper mill at snodland.

      Hi yall,

      I'm an OAP dinosaur who refuses to retire, and has been tolerating a rotten lousy internet service for some time with consistent GMAIL failures and my website consistently up & down. So my hope in joining this forum is that somebody out there who knows what to do about this can offer an effective solution because I am clueless. I have submitted a new thread in this regard with a report from a freeby monitoring my internet. Any help will be greatly appreciated as I will probably become a real P.I.T.A (pain in the ****) owing to my lack of IT prowess.
