      Sky HD - HD Channel

      Hello Everyone

I have a Sky HD box with Sky HD package. I have access to HD channels but not every single channel is HD also I was wondering when will HD become standard as SD picture quality isn't great.

How long will it take for HD to become standard as SD picture quality is unacceptable for 2019

Re: Sky HD - HD Channel

Not every channel is in HD as you have found as it is up to the channels owners to decide if they want to broadcast it in HD or not, when will it become standard - probably never unless very channel out that agreed to broadcast in HD which I doubt they will due to the costs involved.
