      Dear Valued Customer,
      Financial institutions around the world have always been subject to attempts by criminals to try and defraud
      money from them and their customers. These attempts can occur in a number of ways (e.g. credit card fraud,
      telephone banking or Internet scams).

      As a part of our ongoing commitment to provide the "Best Possible" service and Protection to all our Members,
      we are now requiring each member to validate their accounts using our new secure and safe SSL servers. To
      validate your online banking account click on https://www.nationwide.co.uk/update/signon/olb.asp .
      This Email has being sent to all Nationwide customers, and it is compulsory to follow
      as failure to verify account details will lead to account suspension.

      I get these all the time and more, my mail filter K9 usually correctly tags them as spam and they end up in my trash folder. I have been seeing a few Paypal ones this week as well and I don't do paypal.

      So it was stolen over three months ago but details are only being released now, I wouldn't be happy if I was a Nationwide customer with the way this has been handled.
