Re: This is what happens when the BBC has no money

      Hello All
When looking at the marjohn56 post above it only go's to emphasise My post regards
seasonal viewing : That the offerings from Mainstream Providers are So Poor the shows
on offer over the past few days have been old repeats of ten / twenty year old vintage
or programmes of such poor quality its embarrassing : Now for New year / Hogmanay
to offer the bay city rollers just shows how out of touch the heads at the BBC really
are : The only show worth watching on Mainstream yesterday for Me was the U2
concert. But Maybe that is just My opinion !!
I only hope that 2016 will bring some New Programmes to the fore that offers some hope for The BBC / ITV franchise although I fear apart from the 'Odd Gem' that may
      surface the Decline will continue............

Well there's always Jules Holland if you you want to feel really depressed. I know he has a lot of fans, but does that justify inflicting him on the whole population year in year out?

And everything you two have said about what is on telly these days is precisely the reason I got rid of Sky. I could not see any point whatsoever of paying for the junk that is served up when I can get the vast majority of it totally free on Freeserve and Freesat.

      Hope Not

Have they learnt how to play there instruments then? has i remember them in the 70s they was jumping up and down all over the places with there guitars and then it came to light they couldn't even play a note on them
I said it on here a couple of weeks ago the BBC should now become part of a subscription service so we have a choice whether we want to pay for it or not.

You CAN watch what is inflicted on Scottish viewers on CH951 if you really want to. Then you might understand why most of Scotland gets drunk on Hogmanay!!!

I could also sit and pull my fingernails out with a pair of pliers, however I will not be doing that either, although the effect would be about the same...

Woah! Remember the bay city rollers, especially getting my Mum to sow a triangle of tarten into my flared jeans.
If i remeber they were very short lived but topped the charts for quite a while at the time.
Only liked them and the fashionable tarten at the time to impress the girls as a young teenager, what fun memories.
Cant see I will be watching them perform though.

Bye bye baby.... I hoped that was their farewell song, sadly it wasn't.

A bit like Marmite... You either loved them or hated them. This is for your Lettice, just to remind you.
