      Snow at Christmas (19th Day)

I guess most people can't have failed to have noticed that this year December has been particularly warm. Just a few days ago the reports were that this would be the warmest December in the UK for 70 years. a few days ago Bradford reached the hottest it had been for 107 years in December. Last night was the hottest it has been in England in December (yet to be made official but it looks highly likely).

So what has happened to the snow?

Well it has snowed in some parts of the UK. Scotland, North England and Ireland.

At the moment our weather is coming from the South West, not from the North. Long term forecasts indicate that most of the UK will not see any snow next week so I guess that for this year it won't be a white Christmas for most of us.

Just in case you forgot though, out last White Christmas was 2010.

P.S. Anyone else out there who still hasn't turned on the heating? Crazy!

Re: Snow at Christmas (19th Day)

Our heating is just set at 17 overnight and 20 daytime, its left that way 365/24, however its not firing up very often and it's been a pretty cheap year on the gas front compared to previous years, one benefit I suppose. Still having to have the fan on in the bedroom on a few nights this month and have not put the winter duvet on yet.
