Anyone heard what they're like, I've suffered slow speeds since I joined and Sky haven't been able to help me do much.

Also tempted by the offer which includes on the phone side, 1000 minutes/month to mobiles as well as free 0845 calls seven days a week. But as Zee asks, what is their broadband like as Sky Fibre Unlimited is excellent.

I guess the question really to ask is will swapping ISPs resolve the slow connection issue first.

Looking at your profile and SamKnows, your exchange has Sky's kit so you should be on the Broadband Unlimited product with the maximum ADSL2+ speeds. If there is a line fault and BTO can't fix it, then why would swapping ISPs resolve things?

Your exchange also has 21CN and Fibre. Have you considered upgrading to a Fibre product?

      PlusNet Fibre since Jan 2021
Previously Sky Fibre & Sky BB since 2010.

I've tried everything with them but they don't seem to resolve my slow speed. Even had BT around nothing ever gets done.
I am considering Fibre but don't want another slow speed and I want a discount on Fibre as TalkTalk are doing it for 5

EE use "traffic shaping" on their unlimited products so for me that would discount them. They prioritise certain traffic they have deemed important and slow down traffic they deem not so important. Sky don't do this.

Re: Anyone heard how EE broadband is

EE have 2 traffic management policies for both on & off EE network exchanges (see here for more details).

EE still prioritise traffic on their former now non-existent Orange LLU exchanges compared to other exchanges. There's no way of knowing if your exchange ever had Orange LLU, unless you can still find an old list somewhere!
