In other words Opera downloaded quickest.

If I deactivate automatic downloads prior to next Wed.1/11 when IE7 is due.Surely the next time I activate downloads IE7 will appear. What's the best way round this?On this occasion I think I'd like to have an element of choice.

Its not the Connection speed it changes, But it shows which browser works with the connection the best to tweak out the last bit of speed!

If your computer is set to auto-download updates then just allow it! When the next Microsoft Update comes, Just untick that it doesnt download IE7, Then it will ask you that , Do you want to notified of this update later, Then choose NO!

So you wont get the update and you wont be offered it again!

I'm a real Firefox fan - but since the discussions on here I've downloaded Opera & I am impressed ..... I thought I'd miss the extensions - but Opera has 'widgets' which I'm exploring ...
