      If anyone who is getting these emails wants their email address removing we can do for now and then add it back in the future. Just let us know by PM and we will do so asap

      However, you would then not get any notifications ie thread subscriptions etc

      They can block the ip but only as they become aware of it and there's then nothing stopping the attackers trying from another ip

      We have added a fair few IP ranges now, so hopefully will subdue the attempts.

      The attempts are probably from bots/zombie machines.
