Recovering a lost partition
Hi. I made the mistake of using Paragon's Merge Partition when one of the partitions had data on it, not realising it would lose the data. Now, according to Paragon's HD Manager (which I should have used in the first place) the new merged partition shows a "used" capacity that represents the data that was "lost", but Windows explorer treats it as one empty partition.
If I've made sense of the above, can anyone advise me on what they would recommend to recover the data on the partition, as I know for a fact it is still there somewhere.
I seem to recall one of the PC Mags had a data recovery tool on the coverdisc, failing that is there an alternative (cheap) way to recover this data?
Thanks!

there is software out there - but i think that you may have to pay for it as the tiral ones will only do a partial recovery
google will probably give oyu an idea

I had a similar problem to this but it was due to to a partition being corrupt. Make sure that in Paragon Partition Manager the partition has a drive letter assigned to it.

The "Partition Table Doctor" program worked for me when I accidently lost a partition.
