      A few people mentioned this to me when they first got sky.

      Personally, i think i prefer current set-up though tbh.

      Maybe this, like many other "marmite" options that have previously been suggested both here and elsewhere, could be a setting that is "switch-on-or-offable"?

      I just envisaged a future where there's an 'advanced' tab, containing all these little intricate settings for the more discerning user, maybe even hidden like the RF out settings are now.

      That way, casual users aren't bombarded with a confusing array of options, but people who like to tinker get to fine tune their set-up.

      I'd like to be able to arrange the channel list to show the ones I want at the top.
      I used to be able to do this on cable tv.

      also picture in picture, quick switch/flick between 2 channels, advert skipping.

      I understand that Sky are still working on the firmware for your STB. I'm not involved in that group so I can't comment on the progress for you, but there should be something else soon.
