True, but then not everyone knows how to set one. And some ISP's, not so much now, have supplied routers etc with no WLAN password set.
If on the other hand there was a password set and it's been removed to make connecting devices easier then that's another thing completely.Quote:

Would you purchase a new car and not check to see how to dead lock the doors?
If you were to leave your car unlocked & unattended in any UK city for too long, it would not be there when you returned.
People need to understand that they could be held responsible for unsecured Internet access.

No scubbie I know this is unfair but i thought that the account holders were always responsible? May I ask where did you hear that people CAN be responsible for their own actions if proved?
