Very funny but I did feel a bit sorry for the PCSO he was just trying to do his job. What sort of idiot walk down the street with a megaphone, only an attention seeking idiot so he was asking for it.

The pcso wasn't just doing his job as was demonstrated when the proper police turned up and sent him on his way, that is why the police are paid more because they have more training to deal with situations like this, they should have asked him to move on and when/if he didn't they should have moved on and called for advice.

What they should have done was rammed the megaphone down his mouth for being a *** and taking up time that could have been spent elsewhere.

Paid or not, powers or not, I am sure that their presence is a comfort to some, especially the aged collecting their pensions etc and a deterent to others who may be looking for an easy target.

Sometimes people have better things to do that deal with attention seeking idiots

If they had not got involved in something they didn't need to get involved in they could have spent time elsewhere, You are taking too much for granted, you dont know what the guy was doing there with the megaphone or what he was saying before they got involved, he obviously wasn't doing anything wrong or the "proper" police would have done something when they turned up, which they didn't.

Neither do you but the guys on the scene do know and felt that they should intervene, that is what they are there for and they asked him to move on just like to real police did, the difference is when the police asked him to move on he did because he knew what would happen if he messed with them.

I think you suffer from selective memory loss, the guy tried to leave on several occasions they stopped him every time.

From what I understand PCSO's or whatever, are not allowed to physically detain you. They can make a citizens arrest though for a criminal offence if it carries a jail term.
In this video the pcso's are guilty of harassment, obstruction and physical assault, because they laid hands on an innocent person. I would think they are liable for a civil action against them. It would have been better if the film maker had forcibly walked away and if they had physically stopped him it would then become assault and false imprisonment by disallowing him his legal rights of movement in a public place.

It would have been better if the idiot with the camera stopped inciting a problem and acted like a reasonable person instead of looking for trouble and wasting the time of not only the community officers but of the real police who have many better and more important things to do.

So you are against freedom of speech?

The guy was not doing anything wrong the pretend police were as was clearly shown by the real police, i cannot understand why you are having so much trouble with this.
