bad weather issue
hi guys with all this current bad weather were having with the snow im wondering what i can do to be prepaired for the next batch of it. the council for my area doesnt grit the roads outside my house and im wondering how to make your own grit salt that they use i dont want to steal so avoid that does anyone know how to make it i heard rumors you can use cat litter and salt is that correct any ideas be greatful. and please no zombie posts lol

no i dont mean for the road i mean for my drive way path is there anything i can use make to stop the snow freezing my drive way up

Quite simply, 'buy it'. I stocked up about 2 months ago from my local Wickes and it worked wonders, no snow or ice where I'd put it compared to thick ice where i hadn't. Ebay has plenty too.
A simple google does the job quite easily

yea my mom will probably ring to find out if they have any in stock as she was wanting to enquire about rock salt
