Great news. Our exciting new TV on Demand service, Sky Anytime+, launches later this year – and we'd like to tell you a little bit more about it.

You've probably already tried Sky Anytime – which is great for discovering the best of the week's TV. But Sky Anytime+ will give you even more choice. You'll be able to explore a vast library of entertainment – and choose to watch at a time that suits you. Sky Movies customers can pick the perfect movie to enjoy with a friend and there will be box-sets available for Variety Pack customers*.

And as you have a Sky+HD box and Sky Broadband Everyday Lite or Sky Broadband Unlimited, this service will be made available to you as part of your subscription**.

*Available programming depends on your Sky subscription. Customers on Sky Everyday Broadband Lite
should refer to usage caps when the service goes live.
      **Installation charges may apply.

I was speaking to them yesterday about my HD package and inquired about the Anytime + launch, got a call back to say it will be in September.

Isn't the old news though as I am sure that is what it says on Sky's own website about this and that link seems to be about 3D rather than this service.

Just got the same email. Does anyone know if anytime+ requires a new box and would the box need to be plugged into a telephone socket to access it?

You need a HD box and if you want to connect it wirelessly then you have to purchase another little box from Sky, more details here:
