      england supporters

      hi guys/gals
have noticed in the media/forum/news about how bad england are in the world cup.
As a scot i would love to be in this position ,[ie moaning about my team] or I might be supporting them, as wether the win ,draw or lose, at least they still have a chance of getting through to the next round and if they don't then at least they have got to the world cup.
I have noticed in the media that England get hyped up , but when they don't play to their potential get hounded by everyone ,if they get beaten in the competition then that is the time to complain not a few days before an important match.
I would have been supporting my team till the very last second of the very last match if Scotland had got there and i cannot understand the negative press that the English team get in their own country.
All i can say good luck in the next match and i hope that they do get through.

the fact is dude they had every right to moan and boo because the entire team was shoddy against algeria. now im not saying its the manager to blame its the players they just dont give a damn. not like the 60s team that won it all thease players now only care about money and not the fabulous game

      Re: england supporters

At least they are not in the same state as France, who should not have been there in the first place. I bet the Irish are laughing their heads off.

It is the arrogance of the commentators that gets me. Last week they said something like "lets face it England are in a different league from the other teams in the group" after they drew the first game it was "they will walk the next games 3 or 4 nothing". Why don't they learn from their past mutterings.

I think they will probably win their next game 1-1.

      Re: england supporters

I think today's game could have 3 outcomes.
      1. England win 3-1 and are immediately installed as favourites to win the cup (by the TV pundits reckoning) Fabio is touted for an honorary knighthood.
      2. England draw, and go out. The pundits speculate how unfair it is to get knocked out without loosing a game. Fabio gets his P45.
      3. England loose and Fabio is advised not to return to England in the interests of his own safety.

      I'm going with No1.

Well looks like the booing worked and made England play as a proper team should, perhaps the booing was the touch of reality the England players needed.

Great stuff, they managed to 'hammer' a team from the smallest country in the whole world cup one nothing.
