You mean the MM night-light or the dope farm?

Doesn't really matter as the question concerned computer sockets and as has been stated, that depends on how many peripherals you have. I have 8, all running through one wall socket via 2 surge protectors and one PC power down multi plug.

      both

i added 3x double sockets from a existing socket.
1 behind pc for pc and monitor
      1 oppisite side or extras/lamp
1 underneat desk for printer and dect phone

downstairs i added 4 extra socket for phone, router and laptop + 1 spare

so i use 3 but 4 when i need the printer

Thanyou for clearly labeling your pc and monitor so the less pc - literate of us know which is which, however you also need to do the same for the keyboard and mouse to avoid confusion.

Re: how many sockets do you need

      PC
      Monitor
      Printer
      USB Drive (320Gb)
      USB Drive (1.5Tb)
      Amplifier
      Mixer
      Turntable
      Turntable

I'm sure there's more but I can't see what wire leads to what. That lot is connected to the mains via extension/ethernet leads that go through a small hole in the wall to my living room where they plug into 2 wall sockets (with adapters) that also have my TV, Sky HD, BluRay, PCH 110A, hi-fi and a lamp attached.

It's been running happily like this for 6 years give or take an appliance or two. Fire risk? What fire risk? I do have a smoke alarm
