Legit, too good to be true or a scam

I want to buy a few comedies in a box set, specifically Frasier.

So I type into google uk 'Frasier boxset' and the second result (which is a sponsored link) returns:

Frasier DVD Box Set Complete Season 1-11 [Frasier DVD Box Set] - $77.61 : DVD Boxset, HotBoxSet.com

Now this is about 45 for all 11 seasons and has free international p&p. I have found the same boxset elsewhere and it suggests it's legit (just a foreign import).

IooGame Online Shop - Frasier Complete Season 1-9 & 11 DVD Collector?s Boxset

'These are foreign manufactured DVD sets and may have foreign writing on boxes (note: the cover might not look exact the same as the picture above) and/or the discs.

Although the sets are foreign manufactured, the sets are brand new, licensed, legal, factory made high quality DVDs'

I've google and cant find anything bad about hotboxset.com.

      So...... does it look legit?

Cold Case DVD Boxset Complete Season 1 - 6 [Cold Case DVD Boxset] - $72.99 : DVD Boxset, HotBoxSet.com

Seeing as Cold Case has never been released on DVD (I think) due to music rights issues, then I would stay well clear of that site, particularly as everything is listed as region free.

I would agree with Alan. I enquired about Cold Case via the TV studios and they pretty much said it was never ever going to be released.

I just had a look and the only other web site selling it, is a dodgy web site.

I would not touch them, the cover even looks fake

They dont sell one dvd or boxset for cold case.

Yep I agree. The thing that threw me is that it is a sponsored link on google!!!!

Anyway, I'm not bothering and will get the genuine R2 set when its available.

It looks like it could be 'grey' imports, which are bypassing copyright control. It is strange they can get away with it when others are being pursued through the courts for a bit of illegal downloading for their own use. It looks like some of the far east users with high speed internet connections are making use of them to make money.

Re: Legit, too good to be true or a scam

That looks like the genuine R1 version. The R2 is due to be released soon I think.

Its twice the price of the 'other' version, but it's defo genuine. Works out at about 9-10 per season which is reasonable.
