I'm running the RC Win 7 (64 bit) and have just upgraded to 4Gb of RAM. I don't care what the min specs say or what my PC says I have as free RAM (when with 2Gb)... it really is like having a new PC with the extra memory installed. It's as quick and smooth as hell. Marvelous!

I nearly did the same last night when I ordered it around midnight, I was sat in my dressing gown and my wallet was upstairs in my pants. I dont know what made me go and get it but for some reason I did. Hopefully they may get a further allocation.

      well i aquired a iso of w7 Home premium 64 & 32 bit - RTM
i have put 64 bit on my old vista partition and its very good, minor changes from rc1, and also kaspersky 2009 wont work, BUT if you have a comercial licence you can upgrade to 2010 free

sofar there is no difference between the editions. although im on the 30 day trial til i get my key

I've been using Win7 x64 RC and Office 2007 with no problems. Maybe it's something else you've installed that's causing the problems?

aah, ive been inestigating and i think its kaspersky 2010, its not fully suported yet. although everthing was fine in the rc

also when i tried 2009 with the rtm, it said it was incompatable, so i think there is a change between the RC and RTM
