      Why would anyone pay more for the Upgrade version than the Full one.

      Cos you can simply upgrade without having to re-install all your apps and data etc...... but i know what you mean.

      with the upgrade you need a full xp or vista install
      however, some people just get the key. and d/l the files from the www

      and the full version offers upgrade i think
      the reason for the full being cheaper was a offer and something to do with e versions

      Yes especially as it says ms recommend a clean install.

      I know that, what I meant was who would be stupid enough to buy an Upgrade when the Full version is cheaper.
      Upgrading from XP needs a full clean install, so even the Upgrade version must be a Full version, it just requires the correct key. As I understand it all the versions will be on the same disk, only the key used distinguishes them.
