That'll please all those freesat users that have just spent 20 on a card as they'll have to spend another 20!!

      Re: New viewing cards

Doubt it. When they do a card swap out, it normally means someones hacked the encryption so all old cards will be fried!!

      Re: New viewing cards

Surely if you have paid for a freesat card and Sky want you to have a new one with new measures to protect THEIR revenue, they will not be charging for it?

I'm pretty sure they will charge freesat users, they did last time.

It would be unfair to charge again for a new card if for example, you have Only had it a short time.
I thought you only had to pay once for a freesat viewing card.:confused.

      Re: New viewing cards

I think they might charge 5 for a new card, not 20 as I previously posted!! Sorry!! But it's still way out of order and prolly just another way to make a few quid!!

      Re: New viewing cards

when i turn my freesat on it tells me they are changing the cards but no mention of charging you

all you need the card for is all channel 5's channels and sky 3 all the rest don't ask for the card on my feesat box.
