Re: How to make a signature

The mystery deepens, there must be a reason for the difference.

Would it be connected to the Message Editor Interface in the UserCP? Mine is set to 'Enhanced Interface - WYSIWYG editing'. I can't see anything else that would effect it.

Re: How to make a signature

The easiest way is to first collect the url you want to use, then go to your User Control Panel. Click on Edit Signature in the left column, then in the space type-
      Square bracket, forward slash, url=
Then paste in the URL and close with a square bracket, type in the description then put another square bracket followed by /url and close with a square bracket. Now highlight the description, go to the font colour box and select a colour. Save your signature and that's it.
      [urlequal signhttp://www.skyuser.co.uk/tutorials/how_to_test_your_master_socket.html]Test Socket[/url]

This has been disabled by using the words 'equal sign' instead of the = so you can see what it should look like. I hope it is clear enough.

Re: How to make a signature

      Steven,
The point is I, and a few others, can copy and paste perfectly well, others can't. The question is, why? I don't have 'Copy shortcut' on my context menu, I have 'Copy Link Location', which I think is the same. Using this it pastes to the posting pane as the full url, which the forum software would convert to 'Set up Azureus'. Using Copy and Paste it is already converted.

      Set up Azureus
