Re: How to make a signature

      Thanks NR

What we are trying to establish is why I am able to copy and paste a link direct from any forum page and it works, whereas Useless is unable to do this. eg. I have copied and pasted this from one of your previous posts and it is still 'clickable' he is just seeing 'broadband speedtester'

      broadband speedtester

To rule out Firefox I am now using IE7. Maybe someone else would like to try it? Is it a Vista 'thing'?

Re: How to make a signature

Highlight Ctrl+c then Ctrl+v or highlight right click, Copy then paste gives the same.

Sky User - Broadband Speed Tester

Right click, copy link location, Ctrl+v
Sky User - Broadband Speed Tester

I take it we are all using Vista. Must try it with XP tomorrow.

      Just a test,

      Html would be good,
I know this is turned off on the forums but not sure about using html in a sig,

      HTML Code:
      <a href=http://ip-address.com>Who is your ISP</a>
      <a href=http://www.netstumbler.com/downloads/>HotspotFinder</a>

Re: How to make a signature

Don't follow what by you mean Steven, the discussion is about copying and pasting a link from a post on the forum to another post or for using as a signature and for the link to remain clickable.

It appears to work OK with Vista so I am now trying it with XP Pro -
Highlight ,right click, copy and paste -
BT Speed Test, Check For Test Socket

This is a clean install of XP with nothing but Sp3 added, using IE, it seems to work for me, so I am baffled Are these links 'clickable' for others?

      .
