Magic Eye Thingies - The End of The Line?

Friend of mine was told, (in a TV shop I think), that the current crop of Magic Eye thingies would cease to work, come the great analogue switch off.

Anyone know if this is true?

Was just considering getting one as well.....is there any one model considered to be the 'best buy'?

Re: Magic Eye Thingies - The End of The Line?

As far as I am aware this will not happen. The connection is from the sky box to the tv, and is not using the analogue tv signal that comes into the house via the aerial.

If though you were using the magic eye to send an analogue signal then thats when the problem would be there.

      Hopefully this make sense
