Chipped boxes that allow people to view all channels without paying for a subscription. If they find them they block them a lot of the time.

Dunno how successul they are at stopping these 'hookie' boxes etc, but I know of a few people who have been using the for quite some time.

Yeah apparently VM have been going around our area at 3am to physically "cut" people off by disconnecting the cables at the little boxes on your house.

Apparently they got caught by the police acting "suspisiously", but it shows there is a problem with VM and chipped boxes out there and it's bigger than they'd like to admit.

When I used to work for a TV rental company, we used to put pins through the coax, to short the signal out, so they would pay their accounts up to date.....

The customers would ring up and kick off

ever heard of Buy As You View, they turn you hours right down and the key to open the box is like a safe key, but with some paper clips and a grinder and a safe key you can easily get in to keep putting a quid in every haf hour

i used to be with virgin and to be honest most people i know around me have these boxes sometimes i think if virgin got rid of all the people who use these boxes i think they would go bust as most of them in this area get phone or limited chanels so they dont switch them off
