      Possible Petrol Srikes

We have been told to make sure that we get Petrol by Wednesday of next week, as there is going to be a haulage strike next Friday for four days.

Don't know if it is true, but our source certainly knows what's going on

I suppose in reality if they get what they want - this will be avoided.

Hmm, useful info but I wonder how much public sympathy this story will get when contrasted with this story?

      Hi NewreadeR
I know this is a pain in the exhaust but we agree with the strike as we pore Brits getting riped off this might wake up the government to say we are getting fed up I might get a slap hand but here is a link Petition to: Reduce Fuel duty to bring fuel prices back to an acceptable level. you might be interested but if I have done wrong sorry.
      Cheers

Will be interesting to see what happens with this strike, the demands of the haulers seem quite tbh, but hey, they earn more then me already so I'm jealous already.

Sry Martin, but I doubt this will affect the fuel price, more likely to annoy everyone when people cant get their petrol...

Hopefully this is a one off...

I wonder if this announcement is to encourage panic buying so the garages run out of fuel just before the strike,a great plan if it works.

Doubt it, our source has no agenda on that whatsoever, and nothing to do with the people asking for the pay rise.

When I first heard, I thought at last people rallying to stop the ridiculous amount of tax that we have to pay for on petrol. Having read the above articles, it turns out to be in support of a pay rise instead.

So again, us the motorists are going to be penalised, they ain't going to get too much support from the Public I would have thought.

No disrespect to the drivers, but I can only wish that I earned 36k a year.
