nope i'm looing to go HD, but cant decided whether to go thru sky or ebay. Just want to know exactly what offer sky will be as their website is way too confusing.

Cant be doing with calling them thou.

would do it thru interactive but my modem is bust after a thunderstorm.

I just emailed MYSKY @ bskyb . Com. I'm in no great rush and never even considered compensation.... bizzare hey!

      This was their email:

Thank you for your email regarding the issues you are having with your MySky account.

Having further investigated your records, I can confirm that this issue is an on-going technical issues with our MySky service. I can advise that your issues have been escalated to our New Media department, who are working on a resolution to this problem.

I have contacted New Media department today, who have assured me that this issue is a priority, and someone will contact you from this department as soon as a resolution has been met.

Please accept my apologises on behalf of Sky Television for any inconvenience this has caused you. I have applied a credit of 45.00 (GBP) to your account as a goodwill gesture. This equates to one months viewing, and will be off-set against your future billing.

I hope the above assists with your enquiry. If you require any further assistance in the interim regarding this matter, please contact our New Media department on 08442 411 599.

      Yours sincerely

      Re: unexpected compensation

Wow, my MySky upgrade package now works.

Did you know you can get a replacement Sky+HD box (if your current one breaks) for just 150. Just tried it (for fun) and it comes thru as 399 plus 60 install!!!! Looks like they have some more work to do
